Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy Yessh, who was born on 17 October 1992 in India, is an actress in film. Keerthy has mainly appeared in Tamil and Telugu cinema, along with several films in Malayalam. She was awarded the National Film Awards' Best Actress award for portraying Savitri as the lead character in the Telugu Film Mahanati (2018). Also, she has received three SIIMA Awards as well as the Filmfare Award South. Keerthy Kumar is the daughter of filmmaker G. Suresh Kumar, and actor Menaka G. Suresh. Her acting journey began in the mid 2000s. She played her debut lead role in Geethaanjali (2013 Malayalam). She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Keerthy began the first of her Malayalam projects and also started working on projects in Tamil in parallel. She released her first film, A. L. Vijay's romantic comedy Idhu Enna Maayam, in 2015. The film was starring Vikram Prbhu. It was not an immediate success in the box office. Because of her hectic schedule for 2015, she was forced to withdraw from films on which she had already begun working, like Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye or Deekay's Kavalaivendam. She worked in two films that came out in quick succession, alongside Sivakarthikeyan, Rajini Murugan & Remo. Dhanush was also an actor of note on Prabhu's Thodari. Though the release date for Janakitho Nenu is not yet set, reports suggest that it may be in September 2020. Nenu Sailaja was released in 2016 and starred actor Ram Pothineni.
